Juvenile Diversion

Diversion is an alternative to formal prosecution, and a key component to the Court's ongoing reform efforts following JDAI philosophies and principles. Typically, it is a short-term intervention structured to last no more than 90 days. In collaboration with the youth and family, an individualized diversion case plan is created.
